Ground Floor


The cottage, which sleeps 8/9 people, consists of a well equipped kitchen

with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kettle and

toaster and slow cooker. There is a small boot room off the kitchen for

storage of coats and outdoor boots. The dining room has a coal effect gas

fire, sideboard, dining table and chairs for 8/9 people plus a high chair, and

15” digital TV. There is also a door leading to the patio area.

There is a large beamed lounge with soft seating for 8/9, gas fire, digital TV,

VCR, DVD player, radio/CD player, some board games and books. 

The ground floor bedroom has 2 single beds, suitable for elderly or 

disabled people, and a wall mounted flat screen TV with DVD player.




There is a family bathroom with bath, wash hand basin, toilet and a separate

walk-in shower suitable for a disabled or elderly person. The central heating

boiler is also located in the bathroom within a separate ventilated cupboard.

Disabled visitors should be aware that each of the 3 external doors has an

upstand of approximately 100mm (4") which is part of the door frame.                                                                                                                                                                            

First Floor


Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed,

single bed and travel cot, the second bedroom has a double bed and

the third bedroom has two single beds. Each bedroom has either

wardrobe or cupboards for storage. There is also an airing cupboard

and a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin. All bedding and

towels are are provided.








Outside there is easy level access and ample parking space. There

is also a BBQ area with a picnic table and other garden furniture set

in 2/3 acre of lawn. We have recently completed construction of a new

double garage. This garage has been divided internally into two separate

spaces. One of these spaces is for the use of visitors and contains

a washing machine, a tumble drier, a BBQ  and coals, along with

additional outdoor furniture. It has enough space to store bicycles, golf

clubs, surf boards, etc., which visitors may decide to bring with them

to enhance their stay. The old cow stall and stable are not accessible.




The cottage would ideally suit a 3 generation or extended family

or a group of friends offering comfortable accommodation with

a range of activities close at hand including walking, golfing, surfing and cycling.


All bed linen and towels are provided together with bath mats and tea towels.


A welcome pack (consisting of tea, coffee, fresh milk and Welsh cakes) is provided.
